4. Optional cookies
Optional cookies are not required for basic website operation.
Odoo’s native Cookie Bar provides a choice between Only essentials and I agree. Supported optional third-party tracking services configured through Odoo’s cookie controls are intended to remain blocked unless you select I agree.
Depending on the services actually enabled on a website, optional cookies may include:

These categories describe services that may be used; they do not confirm that a particular provider or cookie is active.
CESD will update this policy when optional technologies are introduced or materially changed. Our production configuration should be reviewed periodically so that active cookies can be identified by provider, purpose and duration.
5. Your cookie choices
When you first visit one of our websites, the Cookie Bar allows you to choose:
- Only essentials — permits cookies required to operate the website and provide services you request while declining supported optional tracking; or
- I agree — consents to supported optional cookies and third-party tracking services that are enabled on that website.
The current Odoo consent interface treats supported optional cookies as one group and does not provide separate choices for individual optional-cookie categories.
Choosing Only essentials does not mean that no cookies will be used.
Your choice applies to the website and browser in which it is made. Because CESD operates multiple domains, you may be asked to make a separate choice on each website or browser you use.
6. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You may withdraw consent to optional cookies.
If a cookie-preference control is available on the website, use it to review or change your choice. You may also delete cookies for the relevant CESD website through your browser settings and revisit the website to make a new selection.
Browser controls vary by browser and device. Blocking or deleting essential cookies may affect account access, shopping carts, checkout, language preferences, forms or other requested functions.
Withdrawing consent applies going forward and does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. It may also be necessary to use controls offered directly by a third-party provider where that provider processes information independently.
7. Third-party services
Some optional website functions may depend on third parties, such as analytics providers, advertising services, maps, videos, social-media content, chat or other embedded services.
When supported third-party tracking is configured through Odoo’s cookie controls, it is intended to remain blocked unless you select I agree.
A third-party service may process information under its own privacy and cookie practices.
CESD does not assume that a service is active merely because Odoo supports it. Active production services must be verified and this policy updated when a new provider or materially different purpose is introduced.
8. Similar technologies and logs
Website activity may be supported or measured using technologies other than traditional cookies, including local browser storage, pixels, tags or similar identifiers.
Where an optional technology performs a comparable tracking function and is supported by Odoo’s consent controls, it should be treated consistently with your optional-cookie choice.
Web servers and security systems may also record technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, and date and time.
These records may be necessary for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and website operation and may not be controlled by the Cookie Bar.

Our shared Privacy Policy describes how Canada East Supply and Distribution Inc. handles personal information across the CESD website portfolio, including information relevant to each website and the services offered through it.

The Last updated date identifies the most recent revision.
If a material change affects optional-cookie consent, CESD will provide an appropriate notice and obtain consent where required before the new practice begins.
